Michele Whinery

Senior Claims Analyst

Michele Whinery, Senior Claims Analyst, joined the RS Team with more than 27 years of Workers’ Compensation experience. She has represented RETRO employers over the years in a variety of industries.

We feel very fortunate to have her expertise in both the legal and medical fields. Michele is fluent in medical terminology and was a legal assistant with a background in Legal-Executive Secretary training.

Michele’s customer services skills are client-centered; training and educating employers within all areas of return-to-work and risk management. Michele is analytical and can zero in on claim discrepancies. She enjoys digging into difficult claims and bringing them to a positive closure. We don’t think there is any claim related issue that she can’t resolve.

Michele says, “Give me the tough claims and let’s get them closed!”

Michele is also an accomplished flautist and volunteers in playing for the Rehab Center in Shelton, WA. Her passion is serving her community and the homeless.
